We Supply Missing Expertise

Case Studies:

What We Do

Simply put, we can do whatever you want. We are very flexible and creative in organizing our involvement to suit your style of work. We have done projects as small as a 2-hour consultation to solve a specific equipment setup problem, as large as a design requiring more than a year, and all sizes in between. It depends on what is the best set of tasks for us to assume in order to accomplish your objectives. We listen to your requirements, suggest one or more ways that our talents might be applied, and you decide what works best for you.

Our role in your project might be any one or combination of those listed below. Large projects may be split into phases, each contracted separately or requiring your approval before proceeding to the next step. Be sure to take a look at some case studies to see how we successfully addressed the needs of other clients.

For new products or redesigns of existing products:

  • Provide a complete design of your new product, including circuits, PC boards, firmware, casework, functioning prototypes, and both design and manufacturing documentation.
  • Provide a complete design for a subsection of your product, including circuits, PC boards, firmware, working prototypes, and documentation.
  • Evaluate alternate technologies or the feasibility of a concept.
  • Research existence, availability, and cost of components or modules to implement a design concept.
  • Provide conceptual design, documented as a design specification.  This might be the first phase of a multi-phase project.
  • Design electronics, including circuit schematics, PC boards, prototypes, and documentation. This might be one phase in a multi-phase project.
  • Design firmware for hardware you supply or that we supplied in a previous phase.

For existing products or designs generated by others:

  • Analyze or review a whole design or selected portions.
  • Implement new features in hardware or firmware or both.
  • Find and fix bugs.
